Start with the right files

For stereo mastering, send your approved stereo mix. Premium Release Mastering also needs the agreed alternate mixes, already prepared. For mixing, supply named WAV files aligned to the same session start, a rough mix and references. One delivered mono or stereo audio file counts as one source track. Empty DAW channels and routing buses do not count unless printed and supplied as separate audio. Grouped stems and individual multitracks have different scope.

Revisions follow the service

Each service lists its included rounds. A round means one consolidated list within the agreed direction. New recordings, replacement files, arrangement changes, a new direction or additional deliverables can require an agreed change in scope. Technical corrections do not consume a creative revision round.

Booking & delivery

All rates are starting references in USD, except stated hourly rates. File review confirms the scope, total, first review date, milestones, payment and cancellation terms before work begins. Existing signed quotes retain their agreed terms. Outside services and rights are confirmed separately.

Duration: 12 months, with written start and end dates. New projects and uses require active coverage.
Price & renewal: The written quote states the first-year price and exact renewal price for the next 12 months before agreement. Renewal needs a separate written agreement; no automatic renewal or recurring charge is configured by this inquiry.
At expiry: Projects properly licensed and published during active coverage may remain published within their agreed scope after expiry. New projects or uses require active coverage; expiry does not expand the permissions for an existing project.

Can you help refine my lyrics and make a demo?

Yes. Lyric Review & Refinement starts at $200 per song. Song Refinement & Demo starts at $850 for one existing song, with three-song bundles from $2,400 and five-song bundles from $3,750. These refinement packages include one consolidated revision round per song. Songwriting Consultation is $150 per hour with an agreed time estimate. We review your material and confirm the scope, demo, credits, sharing permissions and final price before booking. New songs and full production use separate scopes.

How long does a custom music project take?

Timing depends on track count, finished length, complexity, revisions, rights, performers, implementation, and deadline. The written quote confirms the schedule; there is no universal turnaround promise.

Are revisions included?

Each service lists its included revision rounds. Stereo Mastering includes one mastering adjustment; Premium Mastering & Release Files includes two. Mixing includes three mix rounds, and bundles state the included mastering rounds. Original production follows the milestone rounds in the selected scope. One round is one consolidated feedback list within the agreed direction. New files, new directions or additional deliverables require an agreed scope change. Technical corrections do not consume a creative round.

What can change the starting price?

Musical complexity, finished minutes, revisions, live performers, contractors, rush scheduling, source files, alternate versions, implementation, rights, exclusivity, territory, term, and delivery formats can change the final quote.

For commissioned music, do I automatically own it?

No. Production and rights stay separate. The written agreement defines the selected license, master ownership, publishing, composition, and any broader transfer.

Can Apollo copy a specific artist, game, or franchise?

Apollo creates original music. References can communicate energy, instrumentation, pacing, genre, and production direction, but the final work will not copy protected melodies, recordings, characters, or distinctive branded material.

Are source project files or game implementation included?

Not automatically. Artist Single and Full Song Creation & Production include a stereo master and instrumental mix. Working sessions, stems, extra versions, loops, stingers and game implementation are separately quoted when needed.

The current Soundworks system includes one logo and up to three short variations; implementation and usage rights are separate.

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: The written boundaries of a project: work, quantity, versions, reviews, exclusions, rights, price and schedule.
In plain English: This is exactly what we agree to make and deliver for the fee.

A starting price applies to its described scope; additional work is agreed before it is charged.

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: Agreed project checkpoints for review, approval, delivery or payment.
In plain English: These are the planned steps that keep the work and decisions moving.

The written agreement sets the applicable dates and payments; an inquiry does not reserve a start date.

Master ownership

Technical definition: Ownership of rights in a particular sound recording, distinct from rights in the underlying composition and lyrics.
In plain English: Owning a recording and owning the song are separate questions.

A Soundworks production payment does not by itself promise an ownership transfer.

Technical definition: Agreed fractional interests or income shares relating to a musical composition; ownership and payment arrangements must be identified clearly.
In plain English: Collaborators document their shares in the song before release.

Working session files

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: The editable production project, which may reference audio, instruments, processing and software dependencies.
In plain English: These are the working project materials, rather than only the finished listening files.

Working-session delivery is excluded from listed scopes unless the written quote adds it.

Stem Mastering

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: The Soundworks service accepting two to eight approved grouped stems for limited group balancing and delivery of one stereo master.
In plain English: We finish a nearly approved mix from a few grouped pieces.

It is not individual-track mixing and does not deliver every group as its own master.

Premium Mastering & Release Files

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: Soundworks mastering for one song’s main mix and two supplied related mixes, with a consultation and two consolidated adjustment rounds.
In plain English: Choose it when one song needs a coordinated set of three mastered versions and extra review support.

The engineering standard matches Stereo Mastering; distribution and creation of alternate mixes are not included.

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: In Soundworks adaptation work, separately agreed shorter edits of a longer piece, with defined duration and use.
In plain English: We can create a shorter version for a specific placement, such as a brief advertisement.

Cutdowns are not automatically included in a full-length cue or song; editing and usage are scoped.

Stingers

Technical definition: Brief musical accents used at defined moments; in interactive music they can be triggered over the ongoing score.

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: A working recording or demonstration used to communicate the song, arrangement or approved direction.
In plain English: It lets you hear and review the idea before the finished release is made.

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: A short multi-song release; Soundworks’ named three-song packages define their own exact song count and limits.
In plain English: Here, check the package scope for how many songs and which stages are included.

Distributor classifications can vary; this label does not change the quoted deliverables.

Mix

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: The combined audio result of mixing the recorded elements; Soundworks labels unmastered mix exports separately from masters.
In plain English: This is the song with its recorded parts balanced together, before its final mastering stage.

The main mix, instrumental and a cappella are distinct versions when included and technically available.

Master

Technical definition · Soundworks scope: The approved audio version after the agreed mastering stage, prepared in the specified delivery formats.
In plain English: This is the finished audio file for the agreed release use.

Receiving a master file does not itself transfer copyright or publishing ownership.
